Nominations Deadline September 30 – Fast Approaching!

Sep. 20, 2022

The Board Election for the 2023-2025 term begins in early November, with voting taking place throughout the month. Nominations will close Friday, September 30, 2022, at 4:30 PM (PDT), just over a week from now

Three positions are available and open to registrants in either of the following electoral districts:

  • District 1 (Lower Mainland)

  • District 2 (the province of British Columbia outside of Lower Mainland)

You still have time to nominate someone you feel certain would be a good Board member, or to put your own name forward and run yourself!

In addition to the experience, knowledge, and skills that you, or a nominee of your choosing, might have acquired over the years, the Board looks for people with these qualities:

  • Ability to think, plan and contribute strategically.

  • Highly principled and ethical.

  • Welcome the viewpoints of others.

  • Good listener and communicator.

  • Thrive on problem solving and getting to a decision.

  • Dedicated to serving the public.

If you are committed to the profession, like to work hard, and enjoy peer-to-peer discussion, you could be an effective and valuable CTCMA Board member.

Here’s a link to the Nomination Form.

Once again, the deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, September 30, 2022, at 4:30 PM (PDT). Nomination forms must be submitted electronically to the College by emailing the form to governance@ctcma.bc.ca.

Read the College Board Information, see the Summer 2022 Balance Newsletter and, as always, we are available to answer any questions prospective candidates may have. For further information about Nominations feel free to email us at governance@ctcma.bc.ca .

Details concerning the Board Election itself will follow; it will once again be conducted online.

Thank you.
