All applicants applying for registration with the College must successfully complete the Safety Examination. Please refer to the Registration section of the website for the examination required to register for each registration title.
Important Update (2020-03-13): Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all currently booked candidates should check with their invigilators and the examination sites for possible changes in the arrangement, such as postponement or cancellation. The responses can vary from one institution/exam site to another, and the situation can change quickly.

Please read carefully the Safety Examination Guide before you start your application for the Safety Examination.
The application for the Safety Examination involves two steps as follow:
Step 1 – Invigilator
Book your Safety Examination 45 days in advance with an approved Invigilator
Pay the Safety Invigilation Fee directly to the Invigilator (or his/her institution). Fees vary from institution to institution.
Step 2 – CTCMA
Complete the Online Application Form and wait for the confirmation details to show up on your screen
Print out the confirmation page
Complete your Credit Card Pre-Authorization Form or prepare a $75 Money Order for the Safety Course Fee
Mail the print out (confirmation page) and the payment to CTCMA to complete your application
*If you do not live within 200km of an approved invigilator, you may request a closer invigilator to be approved by using the Invigilator Review and Approval Application.
**You may request for Special Accommodations by contacting both your invigilator and the College in advance.
